How to Use the Analyze Page

View aggregate metrics, platform-specific performance, historical trends, top-performing posts, and download white-labled PDF reports for your Brand.

Analytics page

Prerequisites

  • Social media platforms connected — Connect platforms in Account settings
  • Published Shout or Ad — You need at least one published Shout or Ad. All metrics (views, likes, comments, shares) come from Shouts or Ads published through Get Shouting. Note: different platforms have different metrics. For example, TikTok does not provide view metrics, so the Total Views card will show 0. You can hover over the Total Views card to see which platforms do not provide view metrics. Also it can take a few days to for some platforms to publish metrics.

Analytics Sections

The Analyze page displays sections in this order (when data is available):

  1. Aggregate Metrics — Summary cards and graphs (Followers, Views, Likes, Comments, Shares) collect the cumulative total from all your connected platforms. Hover over graphs will show the exact values.

  2. Historical Trends — Line charts for engagement and views over time. You can select different date ranges to see the trends over time.
    Historical Trends
  3. Top Posts by Engagement — The 3 top performing posts from the last 90 days. The engagement score is calculated based on the number of likes, comments, shares, and views. The higher the score, the more engaged the post is.

  4. Scheduled Reports — Manage automated reports (Must be Pro or Agency plans, Admin, Super Admin). Pro & Agency plans have PDF reports emailed to Admin and Super Admin every week. Or you can download yourw white-labled report here. You can choose the time period and make sure you have the most up to date numbers by clicking on the gear icon and updating before clicking the download button.

Empty and Error States

No Analytics Data Yet

When no analytics data exists, an overlay appears with "No Analytics Data Yet," description of what analytics include, Create Your First Shout (→ /create), and Connect Platforms (→ /account). Message: "Your analytics will appear here once you publish shouts and connect your social media platforms."

Error State

If the analytics fetch fails, an amber card shows the error message (e.g., "Failed to fetch unified analytics"). Message is shown inline; no toast notifications.

Loading State

Spinner with "Loading analytics..." while data is loading. Skeleton cards for platform grid during initial load. Historical Trends and Top Posts show their own loading states.

Troubleshooting

"No analytics data" or empty page

Causes: No social platforms connected; no Shouts published through Get Shouting.

Solution: Connect platforms in Account settings; publish Shouts from Create or Shouts page.

"Failed to fetch unified analytics"

Causes: Network or API error; social connection expired.

Solution: Check your connection and try again; reconnect platforms in Account settings; contact support if it persists.

"No historical data available"

Causes: No published Shouts in the selected date range; daily snapshots not yet populated for the period.

Solution: Try a different date range (e.g., Last 90 days or All time); publish more content and check again later.

"Top Posts" shows empty

Causes: No shouts published through Get Shouting in the last 90 days; published Shouts have no analytics data yet.

Solution: Create and publish shouts from Create page; wait for platform APIs to return metrics (may take up to 24 hours).

"Scheduled Reports" not visible or restricted

Causes: Plan is below Basic; user is not Admin or Super Admin.

Solution: Upgrade to Pro or Agency plan for scheduled reports; ensure your role has report management access.
